VVM Designs provides a range of services from full project management of the landscape installation, down to hourly consulting if you just want a few tips.

An Overview of what VVM Designs can provide:

1. Full Landscape Plan Package (minimum of 12-20 hours) Includes a full onsite assessment and gathering of client needs and desires. delivery of  up to 3 design options to get a feel of several ideas for the property, nursery visit of review of full plant list including pictures, Preliminary and final landscape and planting plan including design details where necessary. Also includes supporting book with detailed plant information, budget, contractor bid sheet etc.
   
   
2. Seasonal Assessment - Meet every 2-3 months to go over specific tasks that need to be accomplished in the garden over the next season. Opportunity to do quick improvements to the garden/outdoor rooms for the season or special upcoming events. Allows for planning and give clients confidence so that time in the garden is well spent so more time can be spent enjoying it. – Each visit is 1-2 hours  or package deals.
   
   
3. Irrigation Plans: full plans with sprinkler specifications, pipe sizes, schedules etc.

• Assessment/Audit- Review existing irrigation and give report problem, on how to make it more efficient, and recommendations of contractors to make repairs.


4. Consults
   
   
   • Horticultural- – walk-through with client identifying plants, problems, giving recommendations of maintenance solutions or plant replacements.
   • Planting Design & Plant placement- Advice on specific plant or design change recommendations that the client can implement, mini designs for a particular garden space. Also work with contractors to document client design desires with VVM design input on paper to facilitate best communication.
   • Staging for event Advise on quick changes that can be done for events or for spruce prior to sale.

5. Project Planning-Can help create a plan to facilitate project completion, facilitating communication with contractors keeping them on track, answering questions from both side to ensure that the project is done right.
   
   
6. Basic Installation Management
   
   • Shop with clients to chose plants or inspect plants delivered by landscape installer before installation.
   • Determine placement with client/installer before any installation started.
   • Periodically check-in on installation in progress at predetermined intervals.
   • Perform final inspection of installation before landscape installers are released/paid.
     
     

   Pricing (Good until 12/31/2008) Hourly rate of $85. Travel expenses will be additional if outside the SF East Bay.
